Pillars versus jars versus tapers? Floral, fresh, fruity, or spicy? And what do you do with those pretty containers once the candle is spent? Meagan has questions, and Sarah has opinions (and a few pro tips).
In this episode we take a deep dive into the waxy world of candles, from our favorite scents to where we burn them. Plus, Sarah shares a winning tactic for getting wax out of old vessels in order to give them new life.

This was a fun episode! Sarah, that class sounds amazing! I’m going to look up something similar here.
Meanwhile, I too love lighting taper candles for fancy (or even casual) fall and winter dinners, and I have a collection of mismatched metal candlesticks of varying heights. My problem is, wax drips on the tablecloth and ruins it. Do you have a suggestion? I Googled it (figured I could not be the only person) and read about these things called bobeches (wax catchers). Any advice??? Let’s bring back taper candles at dinner but get a handle on this dripping wax situation!
